What people have said about Lorna
“Lorna’s wisdom and insights are breathtaking. This is a woman I have known for many years and admire enormously. She has made a big difference to my life and that of many others.”
Daniel O’Donnell
internationally acclaimed Irish singer
“What Lorna has to say is of universal significance to all of humankind. I have made study of many mystics and spiritual schools of thought over the past forty years, and can say without hesitation that Lorna is a genuine visionary. The message she brings to suffering humanity offers a rare degree of hope and light in a world that often seems very dark. We are a race with amnesia, and she is helping to restore to us our memory of who we are and why we are here.”

“A patient, at an earlier stage in his life had had major reconstruction work done on his face following a car crash. The cosmetic surgery was so perfect that no one ever noticed it, and I or no-one in my clinic was aware of it. On Lorna’s first meeting with him, her instant reaction was a gasp and to ask what the black on the side of his face was: was it metal? She instantly - much to his shock - saw the titanium plate which had been used as part of the reconstruction process.
Lorna looked at another patient who despite two major back operations continued to have significant pain. She was immediately able to indicate to me exactly where in the back the problem was and how a nerve was wrapped around one of the spinal processes, something none of the experts had been able to identify.
One patient, a girl from Sarajevo, had suffered major damage after a grenade had been thrown into her home. Her body was literally peppered with shrapnel, particularly the spinal area. Lorna without the use of X-ray was not only able to point out where all the shrapnel pieces were, but was able to indicate what the effect of each piece was on the girl’s body.
I sent a child who had been in a serious car crash to see Lorna with her mother. Lorna told the mother that the child would recover fully and would walk again. The mother insisted on knowing how Lorna could say this so definitively. Eventually, on much pressing Lorna told the mother that she could see an image of the child in her early twenties dressed in a green party dress and dancing. The child subsequently recovered fully.”

‘If you met a woman who said that she talked to angels every day, you might be forgiven for raising a discreetly cynical eyebrow. But somehow Lorna Byrne is different. Thousands of people say that she has changed their lives for the better.’ Belfast Telegraph
‘Lorna Byrne has been seeing angels since she was a child. Her remarkable gift has lead people from all walks of life to seek her spiritual insight. Her autobiography Angels In My Hair is the rare testimony of a modern day mystic.’
Annemarie O’Connor,
Irish Catholic
“Lorna knows she can't 'prove' her story. She does meet with cynicism, but this doesn't worry her. "When people talk to me they seem to get filled with light. I change things for them. They change. They send a text saying, 'something is happening. You have helped me'.
And Lorna is extraordinary. Whether or not her angels are real, I left her feeling recharged. It was like an experience I had, several years ago when a Glenstal Monk showed me the Icon Chapel. I walked out buzzing with energy, yet at peace.”
Sue Leonard Irish Independent
Nobody is going to argue with her underlying message of love and compassion and forgiveness and her hopes for 'peace among nations and peace in families'. Spending time with her is both challenging and inspirational.
Roisin Ingle - The Irish Times
“Of course, it sounds barking, doesn’t it? Seeing Angels? .. The first point that must be made about Byrne is how credible she is – no matter how incredible her story”
